THE TWANG GRENADES

When it came time to assemble a live band, Jere turned to a select group of the best and busiest players in Los Angeles. Although each had played with Jere on other projects, it was only when all four assembled in one place and started working out the tunes that they were convinced they had a unique chemistry. Jere dubbed them the Twang Grenades because, he says, "Most bands go on, but these guys go off!"

Says Jere, "This is my dream band. I am extremely fortunate that I get to collaborate with guys who have enormous talent, experience, and who are actually great to be around. Brian, Ed, and Greg could make my dog sound great…. I'm just glad they chose me instead!"

GREG COOPER / Guitar

In addition to being a stellar player in several musical genres, Greg Cooper is a nationally-recognized musical author and educator. A staple on the Bay Area blues and jazz circuit, Greg has taught at the prestigious National Guitar Workshop in San Francisco, and he has been featured in Vintage Guitar, Guitar Player, Guitar One and other national publications. A review in Vintage Guitar captured the essence of Greg's gutsy playing: "While it's obvious he's got the chops, he never shows off just to let other players know how good he is. The song's the thing, as it should be." Learn more about Greg at http://www.gregcooper-guitar.com
